Dust

DUST is an impressive VR art project that aims to transform the way people see and experience contemporary dance through a 4 minutes long immersive virtual reality experience. By using a virtual reality headset viewers can place themselves in the presence of the dancer as no audience member has ever experienced before. Watch the trailer on YouTube.

Exit Reality

Exit Reality is a San Francisco upstart that is bringing virtual reality to the masses via its VR delivery trucks and cube installations. The company is going to have both its cube and truck on the VRLA exhibit floor, providing room-sized VR experiences for all attendees.

Hado, is an active augmented reality game with virtual fireballs, played on a physical court. Designed by Japanese company Meleap

MAX VR.

MAX VR. is an immersive VR retro futuristic game inspired on early 80’s gameplay, visual and music styles. The game is designed by RetroWaveVR. Available on Android & iOS.

EMULATED: Pylons VR

EMULATED: Pylons VR is the first VR game title of Southpac, a small game development studio from Auckland, New Zealand. The game is designed for mobile devices using Google Daydream (Cardboard) technology. Download on Android

National Park Experience

The National Park Experience is a visual exploratory that lets users to discover eight parks in US. Available on GearVR.

Inception

Inception takes users to a journey into different places such as London’s West End, Ibiza, or Tel Aviv. Available on Viveport.

Virtual Explorer

London-based consultancy AllofUs has designed a virtual reality (VR) app for Greenpeace, featuring 360-degree films of endangered areas where the charity is campaigning. Available on Android & iOS.

SVRF

SVRF is an Android app that lets users to discover new VR content (360 videos/photos) on their device. The app can be used with or without a headset.

EventForte

EventForte is an event technology startup based in Los Angeles. The company has released the first ever virtual reality event planning and management application. A user can virtually walk around in the venue, to get a feel of what it would be like to see and walk around the event in real life.

The Dragon Hunters

The Dragon Hunters is an innovative new picture book trilogy that includes a bonus augmented reality component, which allows readers to be a part of the Dragon Hunter’s journey as they discover the hidden magic of the island they call home. Entrypoint

The civil rights leader Malcolm X was killed Feb. 21, 1965, at a rally in New York City. In this 360-degree video by New York Times you can hear from a witness and visit the site of the assassination.

Food for thought ahead of French presidential election

A 360-video journalism piece from Euronews… With the French elections just around the corner, some local farmers are feeling neglected and left out of the debate. André Thomas, an agricultural journalist for the newspaper Ouest France, meets with farm owner Loïc Guines to discuss his views as the presidential race gathers pace.

Agent Emerson

Agent Emerson is a VR action movie starring Kiss-Ass star Lyndsy Fonseca directed by Ilya Rozhkov and produced by The Rogue Initiative. In order to create a cinematically elevated immersive 360 degree first-person POV, the director used a proprietary custom-engineered stereoscopic VR Camera Rig IC-cam (Identity Capture Camera). Agent Emerson is expected to debut in the second half of 2017.

VRgluv

VRgluv is an immersive haptic glove with high-fidelity finger and hand tracking technology. The force feedback feature allows users to feel virtual objects and help distinguish between hard and soft objects. Watch it in action on YouTube.
