Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is one of the world’s most important events to see where the tech world is headed. This year, over 3800 companies around the world featured their coolest and latest gadgets for the whole week. Virtual reality was a big part of CES 2017.
Visitors tried the latest VR devices and experiences at the Gaming & Virtual Reality Marketplace area. HTC Vive debuted its new VR products and services. Qualcomm, Nokia, and Ericsson announced solid plans to implement 5G networks by 2020. Intel showed its efforts to cut the cords of the VR headsets for wireless experiences. We also saw that VR is expanding beyond gaming. Major car companies were quick to offer consumers to showcase their futuristic designs and services in virtual reality.
